This policy explains how DigiKits (digikits.in), operated by [LEGAL BUSINESS NAME as per PAN/GST], collects and uses personal data. We follow the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 to the extent in force.
1. What we collect
- At checkout: your full name, email address and mobile number, and the product you are buying.
- Payment data: payments are processed by Razorpay (Razorpay Software Pvt Ltd). Card, UPI, netbanking and wallet details are entered on Razorpay's secure page and are never collected or stored by DigiKits. We receive only the payment status, amount, payment ID and the contact details you gave.
- Waitlist and newsletter: your email address if you choose to sign up.
- Contact form: what you write to us.
- Basic technical data: your browser keeps your cart in local storage on your device. We do not use advertising trackers.
2. How we use it
- To deliver your files and send order emails and invoices
- To provide support, process refunds and prevent fraud
- To send launch and update emails if you signed up (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To meet legal, tax and accounting duties
3. Who we share it with
Razorpay (payment processing), our email provider (to deliver files), and authorities where the law requires. We do not sell or rent your data.
4. Cookies and analytics
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores your cart in your browser's local storage only, on your device. Razorpay's payment page may set its own cookies needed for secure payment, under Razorpay's privacy policy. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy and ask for consent where required.
5. Security and retention
Data is sent over HTTPS. Order records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires (generally 8 years); waitlist emails until you unsubscribe.
6. Your rights and grievance officer
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to [SUPPORT EMAIL, e.g. hello@digikits.in].
